One Pendant, Two Ways

I am borderline-obsessed with the Faceted Capiz Drum Pendant from West Elm. I love the combo of geometric lines with the rough organic texture, and the dark, moody color. So much… Anyway, since I can think of about six different places in my home that this thing would look fabulous, I thought it would be fun to style it in two different virtual rooms. Moodboard madness!!

So here you have it… One Pendant, Two Ways:

room ingredients, clockwise from top: a killer faceted mirror from west elm plays off the triangles on the pendant // silvery wallpaper from CB2 // this gold decorative hurricane lamp is just cool // a mirrored dresser -always uberglam- to act as a sideboard // a gold-rimmed, organic bowl is an interesting centerpiece… // a big rustic, moody wooden table grounds everything is a good counterpart to all the bling happening here // must have glam element: an over-the-top-fluffy flokati rug // yup, some more shine with a brushed-aluminum chair in a nice ladylike shape // a couple of faceted rose gold candleholders, if you’re going to mix metals, go big or go home… // and finally, some sexy black dishes to add a little more edge
